Schedule for the Lok Sabha elections will change after the Air strikes? EC responds

Election Commission has cleared its stand on Tuesday following questions related to changes in the dates of Lok Sabha elections after the Pulwama attack and the action of the Air Force. The Election Commission has said that he is currently keeping an eye on the developments of the country. Election Commissioner Ashok Lavasa said while talking to the media in this regard that the EC is committed to following the order given by the Constitution.


He further said that Election Commission Pulwama is keeping an eye on the ongoing developments in the country after the terrorist response and the response of the government in the form of aerial assault of the Air Force. Lavasa was answering the question, whether the Pulwama attack on February 14 and the response from the government on it will affect the schedule of the for the general elections.
